Voltage regulators regulate the electric current from the battery to the other electrical components. If you find that your electrical system overloads when you rev up the machine, then you most likely need to replace the voltage regulator. Please look at pictures and compare measurements to ensure that you are choosing the right voltage regulator.

Regulator details:

• 6-wire
• 2-plug
• Wiring harness length: approximately 15cm (6.0 in)
  
• The firstplug is a 4 position, 3-wire female plug (see picture)
  
• The second plug is a 3-wire female plug
• All three yellow wires go to the 3 position plug
• The mounting holes are 80mm (3.1 in) center-to-center apart
  
• Overall size is 109mm x 85mm x40mm (4.3 in. x 3.3 in. x 1.6 in)
